Important things to know and follow
Your account must be up to date.
A deposit of $100 is required. This process requires 3 to 4 times longer than a standard mow and produces large amounts of waste we need to dispose of.
As we need to block other work out of our schedule to accommodate that, the deposit is not refundable if the service is cancelled by you.
If the cancellation is our fault, we will of course refund or credit against future work.
The locations of sprinklers need to be identified. The dethatching process is unlikely to damage sprinklers, but we’d rather not chance it.
Irrigation needs to be turned off 7 days prior. This process still works with the soil surface and excessive moisture may create muddy patches.
We would recommend treating the lawn with a slow release fertiliser and a pre-emergent product that will prevent weed seeds from sprouting for 6 months once the process is complete.
This is also the perfect time to apply a soil wetting agent.
